This interactive workshop introduces interpreters to the Demand-Control Schema (DC/S) framework (Dean & Pollard, 2012) as a tool for analyzing and navigating the complexities of interpreting work. Through guided discussion and real-world examples, participants will explore how to identify demands, apply effective controls, and use the DC/S framework to support ethical decision-making. 

This workshop is open for both members and non-members to attend.

Non-FRID Member (needing CEUs): $35

Non-FRID Member (No CEUs): $25

Cancellation Policy: If FRID, the presenters, or unforeseen circumstances (including acts of God) cause the workshop to be canceled, participants will receive a credit toward a future FRID event.

Please Note: Refunds will not be issued for individual cancellations. However, if you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person.
