FRID CMP Q&A

We will host a Zoom Q&A session (2/25, 6:30 pm-7 pm) to answer any questions people might have about becoming FRID's CMP Chair. That information can be found in the CMP position description below.

Are you passionate about continuing education and making a difference in the professional development of our community? FRID is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented CMP Chair to oversee the Certification Maintenance Program (CMP) and ensure our members have access to high-quality educational opportunities. This is your chance to step into a leadership role that supports the growth of RID’s certification standards while contributing to a dynamic and engaged community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process CEUs for individual and organizational members.
• Respond to emails within 3 business days, addressing inquiries and providing guidance.
• Submit documents to RID for their annual CEU Program review.
• Attend 3 quarterly board meetings, ABM, and FRID retreats.
• Provide CMP updates to the board and create an annual report (July- June).
• Ensure FRID CMP pages on the website are current.
• Collaborate with event organizers to approve and process CEU activities.

Types of CEU Activities Managed:

1. Academic CEUs (for FRID members only): Processed after the course completion within the RID cycle.
2. PINRA CEUs (for FRID members only):  Review and process individual member's non-RID activities (PINRA)
3. Sponsor-Initiated Activities (for FRID organizational members only): Review and assist in satisfactory completion of documentation and CEU submission to RID

Additional Duties:

• Stay informed of changes to RID CEU policies.
• Facilitate communication between RID, sponsors, and event organizers to ensure smooth processes.
