This hands-on workshop will prepare you to take the performance portion of the NIC certification exam. We will review ethical dilemmas and the required elements you must include in your answers, as well as interpreting videos similar to those found on the exam. Upon completing this workshop, participants will:

• Develop skills in analyzing ethical situations and apply specific CPC standards to defend or refute chosen responses by interpreters;
• Demonstrate critical thinking and in-depth understanding of applying the Code of Professional Conduct;
• Practice interpreting skills and compare them to RID standards of performance.
