Support FRID Through Donations

FRID is a volunteer-run nonprofit committed to strengthening the interpreting profession and supporting the Deaf community across Florida. One way we raise funds for scholarships, mentorship, and educational opportunities is through gift basket fundraisers.

How local businesses can help: We welcome donations of goods, services, or gift certificates to be included in our raffles and fundraising events. Donors will be acknowledged publicly as community supporters on FRID’s internet platforms as a thank-you for their generosity.

✨ Your contribution directly supports:

Scholarships for interpreters and students
Professional development and mentorship programs
Community events promoting access and equity

If your business would like to donate an item or service, please contact us!

Together, we can make a meaningful impact while showcasing the businesses that give back to our community.

Member Benefits vs. Donation Acknowledgments

FRID values both our Organizational Members and our community supporters.

Organizational Members receive specific benefits, which include the opportunity to have their events, programs, and services highlighted on FRID’s communication platforms (website, Facebook, Instagram). These benefits are part of paid membership and are available to all Organizational Members in good standing.
Community Supporters & Donors may occasionally be acknowledged publicly by FRID when they contribute through donations, raffle items, sponsorships, or other in-kind support. These acknowledgments are expressions of gratitude and recognition, and do not constitute an Organizational Membership benefit or endorsement.

    In short:

If you are an Organizational Member, advertising is a membership benefit.
If you have made a donation or in-kind contribution, public acknowledgment is a thank-you for your generosity.

FRID reserves advertising benefits for Organizational Members, while still celebrating the generosity of donors and supporters who help us achieve our mission.
