Nationally Certified Membership $38.00

Any individual who is an active Certified Member of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. (RID).  Voting privileges are included. This category is for interpreters with an RID recognized certification such as: CI, CT, CSC, MCSC, OTC, IC, TC, CDI, NIC (all levels), NAD 3, 4, or 5, Ed:K-12, CLIP, CLIP-R, SC:L, Prov. SC:L, SC:PA, ACCI.

Any individual who is an Associate Member of the RID and meets one of the following criteria:
1. holds a current Florida Quality Assurance (QA) or Educational Interpreter Evaluation (EIE) Level, or
2. holds another credential recognized by the FRID, or
3. has passed the NIC Knowledge Test and is, therefore, a Candidate for Certification by the RID, or
4. qualifies as a *Deaf Interpreter as defined by the FRID.

*A Deaf Interpreter is one who has met all of the following requirements:
1. at least 4 hours of training on the RID Code of Professional Conduct,
2. at least 4 hours of training on the role and function of a deaf interpreter, and
3. has passed the FRID QA Written Test within the last 3 years OR has passed the RID Written Test within the last 5 years.

Documentation must be provided.

Supporting Member $35.00
Any individual with an interest in supporting the purposes and activities of the Corporation and is a Supporting Member of the RID. This category is for those with no interpreting credentials. This is a non-voting membership.

Organizational Membership $77.00
Any organization/institution with an interest in supporting the purposes and activities of the Corporation. This is a non-voting membership.
